Storefront doors that close, latch and lock
Storefront doors are opened all day. Most problems come from worn pivots, tired closers and misaligned strikes.
Common faults
- The door drags on the floor.
- The latch no longer catches.
- The closer slams or does not close.
- The lock is stiff or damaged after a break-in.
What we check
- Top and bottom pivots.
- The closer and its adjustment.
- The lock, strike and alignment.
- Weather seals and thresholds.
Glass
- We repair hardware; a glazier is needed for cracked or broken glass.
- If glass is damaged, we can make the door safe until it is replaced.
Send a photo of the top pivot, the bottom pivot and the lock.
