Emergency locksmith help that starts with a plan
When you are locked out, the first few minutes decide whether the fix is simple or expensive. We ask the right questions first.
When to call us
- You are locked out of a house, condo, townhouse, storefront or vehicle.
- A key has snapped in a lock or a deadbolt will not turn.
- A door will not lock after a break-in or an accident.
- A landlord or manager needs a unit made secure quickly.
What we ask on the phone
- The nearest intersection and the type of property.
- Whether the door is latched or deadbolted, and what kind of lock it is.
- Whether the key is inside, lost or broken.
- Whether anyone or any animal is inside, in which case you should call 911 first.
How the visit works
- We confirm the scope, the service-call charge and the likely range for the work before the technician is sent.
- On arrival we ask for identification that connects you to the address or vehicle.
- We try the least damaging method that suits the lock.
- Before we leave, we test the lock, explain any damage and give an itemized invoice.
What changes the price
- Time of day, distance and traffic.
- The lock type and whether it is damaged.
- Whether parts or a new lock are needed.
- Whether a rekey is added because keys are lost.
If a person or pet is in immediate danger, call 911 before calling a locksmith.
