Change who has keys without changing the lock
Rekeying is often the fastest way to cut off old keys. It works when the hardware is sound.
When to rekey
- You bought or rented a new home and do not know who has keys.
- A tenant, roommate or employee left.
- Keys were lost or stolen.
- You want several doors to use one key.
When not to
- The lock is worn, loose or corroded.
- The lock is a cheap model that will not hold up.
- You want to add a keypad or smart lock.
How it works
- We check each lock can be rekeyed.
- We change the internal pins and supply new working keys.
- We test each lock and tell you how many working keys exist.
Count the locks you want rekeyed, including side doors and the garage entry.
