Clarity is part of the service

The exact price depends on the lock, access, time and parts. The way we reach that number should never be a mystery.

Before we send anyone

  • We ask about the lock, the door and the location.
  • We give a range and explain what could change it.
  • We confirm any service-call charge and mileage.

What can change the price

  • Time of day and distance
  • The lock type and whether it is damaged
  • Parts, a new lock or extra keys
  • Whether a rekey is added because keys are lost

At the door

  • The technician shows identification and business name.
  • We confirm the price before work starts.
  • We explain the method and whether the lock can be saved.

Reading a price range

A range such as “between the service call and a replacement lock” reflects what we cannot know until we see the lock. Once the technician has looked, the range narrows to a number you approve. If the job turns out simpler, the price should fall; if it is more complicated, the change is explained first. You can stop at any point before work starts and pay only what was agreed for the visit.

After the work

  • An itemized invoice
  • A test of every lock and key
  • Care notes and any follow-up terms in writing
